Ganguly denies outburst against selectors

BANGALORE: Sourav Ganguly on Saturday denied that he had given any interview to a Bengali daily in which he had lashed out at the national selectors for treating him as the "sacrificial goat" all the time.

"The reports of an interview from Bengali daily published in various newspapers are false. I have not given an interview of that sort to anyone and hopefully also in future," Ganguly said in a statement which was read out by Indian team logistics manager Russel Radhkrishnan. "I would request you to clarify with me before publishing news from other sources," he added.
